Objective

You work with rigidbodies in physics-based simulations.
You use editor scripting or visual scripting tools to control and customize physics behavior.
You utilize a physics engine to simulate realistic physical interactions.
You apply constraints to create simple physics-based machines.
You define and manipulate physics bodies, collisions, vectors, traces, forces, and impulses.

Content

How do you apply gravity, friction, force, and mass to manipulate objects in game engine physics?
What is the difference between rigid and soft body simulations, and how are they used?
How do you utilize a physics engine to simulate real-time object behavior?
How are industry-standard tools used for interactive real-time physics in games?
How do you customize physics to add stylization and exaggeration?
How do you test and optimize simulations for game performance?

Evaluation

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. assess information sources critically.
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
