Objective
After this course, the student will be able to identify the most common methods of manufacture of metal products, machine tools, and tools. Students will be able to select a suitable method of manufacture for different working operations. Students will be able to use the most common machine tools and tools safely.
Content
Forming Machining, chip removal, turning, milling, drilling, thread cutting, broaching, grinding. Sheet works Welding: gas, stick, flux-cored metal-arc welding with inert or active gas shield (MIG / MAG), tungsten inert gas arc welding (TIG), submerged arc welding and spot welding, weldability, additives, protective gases, welding machines Soldering and sticking Laboratory work: practising the basic methods of working with various materials
