When the student has passed the course, they will be able to: - make economic calculations related to energy production, utilisation of energy, energy trading, and optimizing of energy production - explain the background, goals, and implementation of Finnish energy policy

Energy policy in Finland, present energy consumption and its future scenarios in Finland, implementation of energy policy, worldwide and domestic energy resources , energy production costs of different kinds of power plants, energy tariffs, production costs of district heat and electricity in back pressure power plant, optimization of energy production,  profitability of energy saving investments
