Objective

Passing the module the student understands the multidimensional and complex nature of the concept of sustainable development. He/she is able to connect sustainable development with the societal changes. He/she can figure out the connection between technologigal progress and sustainable development.

Content

The background and definition of the concept of sustainable development. Sustainable development and the society (political programmes etc.). Corporate social responsibillity. Clean technology promotion for sustainable development.
