The aim of the course is to become acquainted with, and critically examine infodemilogy and it’s opportunities, current implementation and challenges within the field of health and welfare.Learning outcomes:You are able to reflect on, discuss, and critically analyze the impact and influence of infodemiology on your own profession, as well as the health and welfare sector, and society in general. This will involve developing a thoughtful and critical attitude regarding different issues and aspects regarding infodemiology.You gain basic knowledge of infodemiology, enabling you to describe the challenges it presents, as well as the future opportunities that it offers to health and welfare sectors.SDG's in focus:#3 Good health and well-being#4 Quality education

As a student You develop a critical perspective on its use while gaining fundamental knowledge of infodemiology and it’s role in professional practice.
