Objective

You have the knowledge of thebasic research methods used in forestry.  You are able to use the mostcommon data collection methods and be critical of the various sources of information. You areable to use quantitative research methods for analyzing problems. You apply research methods in the thesis process.

Content

What kind of research is there in the forestry sector? How is research data acquired and how reliable is the data? How toanalyse survey data? How to applyresearch know-how in the thesis process?
