Objective

- You are able to apply adequate diagnostic methods of the extremities using an evidence-based approach.
- Based on medical science and proven experience, you are able to analyze and evaluate examination findings and thereby, select, plan, implement and evaluate adequate treatment methods.
- You are able to apply your knowledge of human body and its function to the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders of the extremities.
- You are able to reflect your own knowledge and demonstrate the ability to identify the additional information you need and continuously develop your skills.

Content

- By completing this course, the student will achieve a wider understanding of the epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis and differential diagnosis of pain in the extremities.
- The student will gain a wider understanding of the consequences of acute and chronic pain in the extremities and dysfunction and its management, as well as knowledge of appropriate treatment options guided by the development of pain neuroscience.
- Prognostics factors and prevention of pain in the extremities.
