Objective

You use logically technical concepts of water supply engineering. You choose the practical water and wastewater treatment methods. You can instruct and promote good water supply engineering on rural and urban areas.You have basic hands on experience on water systems model usage

Content

What are the factors which impact on drinking water quality? How raw water is acquired and how it is processed to healthy drinking water? How are waste waters treated and how the treating processes are controlled? How is the water supply of rural areas organized properly and economically?How are the wastewater treatment processes modelled? The course contains 1 ect of integrated mathematical studies

Teaching methods

Scheduled track:
You will appreciate the importance of water globally. You know how clean water is produced for human consumption and other purposes and how used water is eventually cleaned. You can choose correct treatment methods for urban and rural areas. You know recent technology and methods used in water systems development. You have hands on experience on some drinking water production or wastewater treatment unit operations.
