Objective

You use professional vocabulary in water-, sewer- heating and ventilation systems designs.
You choose and size appropriate solutions for water- sewer-, heating and ventilation systems according the Finnish Building Codes and good well-dimensioning.
You can validate the solutions you have chosen.
You can create automation designs for controlling the HVAC-systems.
You can work as a member of a group and you can take account of the customers’ requirements in HVAC-designing.

* How to present heating systems in buildings HVAC-designs?
* How to present ventilation systems in buildings HVAC-designs?

Teaching methods

Scheduled track:
You take part in the weekday-based teaching and tutoring. You study according to the group timetable and do the given homework independently.

Student workload

Approximately 40 lessons, total studying time 135 hours.

Qualifications

You have attended to the course Water and sewage services in buildings, Heating systems, Air conditioning systems and Princples of HVAC design courses or have the equivalent knowledge.
