Objective

You can utilize your own expertise in business planning and development.
You know how to analyze demand, competition and industry as starting points for business planning.
You are able to identify and understand the factors that affect the operating environment of your industry at the regional, national and international levels.
You are able to assess the opportunities for entrepreneurship and business in your industry.
You can produce new information related to starting and developing a business and compose a preliminary operating or development plan.

How do you identify, evaluate and utilize your own expertise as a starting point for business development? What kind of characteristics, knowledge and skills are required from the entrepreneur?
What are the different forms of entrepreneurship and their effects on business operations?
What methods are used to identify and create new business opportunities innovatively, considering the principles of responsible business?
How is business model created and evaluated?
What is the importance of co-operation with different professionals in planning, financing and development of business operations?

Evaluation

-find, study, produce and evaluate critically multidisciplinary data for entrepreneurship in their field of expertise
- solve demanding problems in research, development and innovation
- be responsible for operations concerning entrepreneurship in their own field and develop these independently
- evaluate different strategic approaches and justify their use in terms of management and development from an entrepreneurial perspective
- communicate proficiently and systematically in their native language and in one foreign language their own preliminary written operating or development plan
