Opiskelumateriaali

The material used during the module is available primary through digital Learn environment and module's teacher. Beside the given material the student may also use other suitable professional literature or material.

Yksilölliset oppimisväylät

Opintojakso perehdyttää opiskelijan joustavien vaatteiden suunnittelun, kaavoituksen ja ompelun perusteisiin.

Opintojakson aikana opiskelija omaksuu perusperiaatteet joustavien materiaalien kanssa työskentelystä vaatetuksessa sekä joustavien materiaalien käsittelyyn sopivien koneiden ja laitteiden käytön. Opiskelija voi oman kiinnostuksensa mukaan keskittyä tarkemmin rajattuun joustavien vaatteiden ryhmään, esimerkiksi uima-asuihin, neuleisiin, urheilu- tai esiintymisasuihin.

Opintojaksolla on mahdollisuus muokata valmiskaavoja omille mitoille tai piirtää kaavat itse alusta alkaen. Vaatteet sovitetaan ohjatusti ennen ompelua.

Opintojakson opetus on tekstiilipajan tiloissa tapahtuvaa lähiopetusta. Opintojakson aikana opiskelija voi suunnitella ja toteuttaa useampia nopeatekoisia asusteita tai yksinkertaisia vaatteita tai keskittyä yhteen vaativampaan tuotteeseen. Opintojaksolla toteutetut tehtävät esitellään opintojakson lopuksi yhteisesti ryhmälle ja ohjaavalle opettajalle.

Opintojakso soveltuu vapaavalintaisena opintojaksona täydentämään vaatetusalan muita opintoja. Opiskelija jolla on aiempaa harrastuneisuutta voi myös osallistua opintojaksolle. Opintojaksolle osallistuvilta odotetaan perustietoja vaatteiden ompelusta.

Each student chooses the assignment together with the teacher at the beginning of the module.The assignments are presented to the group at the end of the module and turned in to the teacher in a portfolio form.

Opiskelijan työmäärä

The work amount for the student is calculated as 27 hours per one point. In practice this can be subject to change depending on the earlier knowledge of the student. About half of the work will be conducted with the teacher and half independently.

The student is in charge of the expenses and materials needed for their module assignments.

Assessment methods and criteria

The student will set goals together with the teacher to go with the overall goals of the module at the beginning of the module. Teacher evaluates how well the skills have been learned when grading the assignment. The final grade will form based on the assignment and overall activity the student has shown during the study module.

The activity refers to among other things:
- taking part of the contact teaching days
- receiving tutelage
- ability to work independently towards a goal
- ability for independent information searching
