Objective

You know how to consider client and resource orientation in physiotherapy by supporting the participation and agency of neurological rehabilitation clients.
You can comprehensively and reliably evaluate the functional and mobility ability of a neurological rehabilitation client, taking into account the client's individual resources and functional strategies.
You can design and guide task-oriented exercises that support motor learning for a neurological rehabilitation client, taking into account the specific characteristics related to the client's disease or injury, as well as their individual resources, functional strategies and living environment.
You can apply your expertise in neurological physiotherapy, taking into account professional guidelines and evidence-based physiotherapy methods.

Content

How do you support the participation and agency of the neurological rehabilitation client in physiotherapy in a client-centered and resource-oriented way?
How do you choose, justify and use functional capacity and mobility assessment methods, taking into account the rehabilitation client's individual resources and functional strategies?
How do you plan and guide task-oriented exercises that support the rehabilitation client's motor learning, taking into account the special features related to diseases and injuries of the central and peripheral nervous system, the individual resources of the client, their functional strategies and the living environment?
How do you apply your expertise in neurological physiotherapy while considering professional guidelines and evidence-based physiotherapy methods?

Qualifications

Basic knowledge is required on the neural regulation of the body, as well as the specific characteristics and effects of central and peripheral nervous system diseases and injuries on functional capacity.
