You know how to use the systematic method in product development.
You know the different phases of a product development project.
You know the basics in patent law.
You are able to lead an independent equipment, plant, or process design project.

What must be taken into account when applying for a patent for an invention?
What phases does a product development project include?
How to use the systematic method in product development?

Evaluation

Students can
-use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
-choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.

Kurssilla viedään läpi oppilaan määrittelemä ja opettajan hyväksymä suunnitteluprojekti.
Se voi olla laite-, laitos- tai prosessisuunnitteluprojekti, tuotekehitys/suunnittelutehtävä esimerkiksi 3D-suunnitteluohjelmaa hyödyntäen.
