Objective

After finishing this practical training period you are able to:
- together with clients, their close community members and other actor networks evaluate and support clients' own strengths as well as their needs for growth, development and support.
- plan, implement and evaluate guidance and upbringing according to the needs of the clients.
- act in a client-oriented way utilizing methods of client work.
- evaluate your own strengths and knowledge in the field of upbringing and guidance work as well as to set yourself professional development objectives.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Sosionomi-opintojen 2.harjoittelu suoritetaan 7 viikon mittaisena sille erikseen opetussuunnitelmassa ja lukujärjestyksessä varattuna ajankohtana.
Opiskelija etsii / valitsee harjoittelupaikkansa itse yhteistyössä harjoittelukoordinaattorin kanssa. Tarvittaessa vastuuopettaja vahvistaa paikan soveltuvuuden harjoitteluun.
Harjoittelun ajaksi opiskelijalle nimetään ohjaava opettaja ja harjoittelupaikasta lähiohjaaja.
Harjoittelun aikana opiskelija suorittaa 2.harjoitteluun erikseen laaditut kirjalliset tehtävät.
Varsinaista harjoittelua edeltää erillinen info-tilaisuus, jossa harjoittelu ohjeistuksineen käydään yksityiskohtaisesti läpi.
Ohjaus ja sosiaalinen tuki-jaksolla on mahdollista suorittaa pedagogisen harjoittelun toteutus, mikäli opiskelija tähtää varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomin työtehtäviin.

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Harjoittelun suorittaminen näytön kautta on mahdollista jakson Moodle- sivuilla esitettyjen kriteerien valossa aiemman työkokemuksen perusteella.

Student workload

Opiskelijan harjoittelutuntien määrä on viikkoa kohden 35 tuntia.
