Objective

Knowledge, understanding and proficiency of:
- safety management.
- safety management systems and their exploitation according to ISM regulations.
- security management.
- security related matters of ISPS regulations that are required for security officers working in ports, shipping companies and on board a ship.

Content of this course is based on IMO model courses 3.19, 3.20 and 3.21

Evaluation

Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
