Objective

You know musculoskeletal anatomy comprehensively both in theory and in practice.

You can apply your knowledge functionally to the human in motion.

You can consider anatomical structures mechanically in motion and how they are connected to each other.

You recognize the most typical anatomical structures that are connected to musculoskeletal disorders, and explain the mechanisms.

You participate in practical anatomy studies by observing an anatomical dissection during the 6th and 8th semesters.

Content

How is the human bone structure generated?

How is the human skeleton generated?

How in the human joint structure generated?

How is the human muscular system generated?

How does the human musculoskeletal system work while moving?

Evaluation

Students can:


• use professional vocabulary of anatomy consequentially.

• search an find information on anatomy from the main sources of information in their field.

• master the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system in the human body, applying the knowledge to the diagnostics and treatment methods of naprapathy

Course part description

The implementation is divided into the anatomy of the bones, muscles and joints.

Theoretical knowledge is also illustrated in practice, from the beginning.

Further information

The course includes anatomical autopsy in the third and fourth academic years.

The course consists of three sub-exams. The grade of the course is determined by exam grades.
