Objective

Preclinical training 2 and clinical training 2
You can apply your knowledge on the most common diseases of children and young people to nursing.
You can apply your know-how diversely to the reception work of a nurse.
You understand the normal progress and follow-up of pregnancy, childbirth and post-natal period.
You master the assessment of the health, functional ability and resources of an elderly person and the nursing methods used for supporting these.
You are able to assess the nursing need of a patient who needs urgent care.
You are able to systematically assess the need for immediate care and act in urgent and emergency situations.
You know the principles of nursing that promotes rehabilitation and can act accordingly.
You can choose a safe way to help and the required tools according to a patient’s ability to function.
You can activate and motivate a patient to utilize his/her own resources in mobility.
You can apply evidence-based knowledge to nursing different patient groups.

Nursing of children and young people:
What are the most common procedures and methods used in nursing children and young people?
What are the most common methods used in the care of people with disabilities?
How do you apply evidence-based knowledge to nursing children and young people?

Maternity, family and woman’s nursing:
What are the key procedures and methods used in maternity and woman’s nursing?
How do you assist in an unplanned childbirth that takes place outside a hospital?
How do you apply evidence-based knowledge in maternity and woman’s nursing?

Reception work and homecare nursing:
What are the key nursing activities and sectors of a nurse in reception work and homecare nursing?
How do you assess the customer’s ability to function and his/her resources?
How do you anticipate the weakening of a patient’s ability to function?
How do you apply evidence-based knowledge to reception work and homecare?

Nursing in acute and intensive care:
What are the key procedures and methods used in nursing in acute and intensive care?
How do you assess a patient’s need for urgent care?
