Objective
You can identify an industrial process based on a flow and PI diagram and its positioning methods
You can describe the general measuring devices and operating units of machine automation and the process industry and their operating principles
You can describe the connection of field devices to control systems
You can explain the role of key measurement and control and regulation functions and the driving forces (modes) in the control of various controlled processes
You can implement feedback control
You can analyze the relationship between process dynamics and PID controller tuning.
Content
How do you differentiate and identify distinct process and automation devices in flow diagrams and PI diagrams?
How do you connect the control system and drive it with automation?
How do you control the process and automation equipment operations (e.g. tank surface, flow or steam pressure)?
How do you use the PID adjusting device to control the regulating unit and define the excitation parameters?
