Objective
You can describe the ethical, aseptic and ergonomic premises of physiotherapy practice and act accordingly in your work.
You can encounter people of different ages and create a professional relationship with them.
You can describe and implement physiotherapy counselling and guidance processes.
You can study human posture, movement, vital signs and need for assistive devices through interviews, observation, palpation and appropriate measurement methods.
You are able to guide and assist people in the transfer and movements of human body, taking into consideration the physiological resources and ability.
You know the basics of physiotherapy methods and can plan and implement physiotherapy sessions according to them.

What are the ethical, ergonomic and aseptic premises of physiotherapy and how do you consider them in your own actions?
Which factors are present when you create interactive relationships with other people?
How do you create practical relationships with people of different age and with their relatives?
How do you describe physiotherapeutic counselling and guidance processes?
How do you assess the motor skills and motor control of people in different ages?
How do you assess, help and guide the basic movement of people of different ages?
How do you observe and assess the posture and movements of joints?
How do you examine and assist respiratory and circulatory functions?
How do you palpate the human structure?
How do you plan and execute massage therapy, relaxation and group exercise sessions?

Qualifications
The course is integrated into the following courses of the module:
Human growth, development and learning 5 ECTS credits
Anatomy, physiology and biomechanics 10 ECTS credits
