Objective

You understand the components of international supply chains (functions, operators/players) and are able to describe them verbally and graphically.
You are able to apply modern technology to assist the different operations in an international supply chain.
You understand the connection between the different operations in the supply chains.

Content

What functions/operations are there in the international supply chains?
What operatoes are involved in the international supply chains?
What technologies can be/are used to assist the operations in international supply chains?
How to describe the international supply chains verbally and graphically?

Materials

Relevant logistics/SCM literature.

Teaching methods

The course will have a few facilitating contact lessons (class or distant); otherwise the course is executed in form of a a large group assignment, mainly carried out outside the classes. The course will be graded based on the group assignment. In the assignment the students will plan one end-to-end, international supply chain including its operations, operators, technical tools etc.
