Objective

You are able to observe social work in a culturally sensitive, ethical and critical way.
You are aware of the significance of one's values and perception of the concept of human being in social work.
You are able to analyze your own values, attitudes and prejudices with relation to the principles of social work.
You are able to identify possibilities and contradictions related to social work in different operational environments.
You understand the significance of documentation and are able to appropriately record client information in accordance with data security and confidentiality requirements.

How do human rights, laws and ethical principles guide social work?
What do cultural sensitivity and criticism mean in social work?
What cultural and ethical possibilities and challenges are encountered in social work?
How do you take into account norms, values and ethical principles in the capacity of a social worker?
What are the principles of juridically sustainable and ethical documentation?

Evaluation

You are able to
a. use professional vocabulary of social work systematically.
b. look for information in the key information sources of the field.
c. identify interrelated tasks related with client work and process
d. work together with customers, users and target groups taking account their individuality and strengths
e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.
f. work as team members in a goal-oriented way.
g. justify their actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field and the laws related with client work issues.
