Objective
Knowledge, understanding and proficiency of:
- basics of programmable controllers and digital distributed systems.
- function and principles of control and monitoring devices.
- class requirements for ship automation systems.
Content
Measured and adjustabled variables in a process, applicable controls, block diagram of control circuit, behaviour when adjusted, adjustment, different parameters, parameter setting and switching to automatic systems and field channels. Class requirements for ship automation systems.
