Objective

- You can design clear and sharp information graphics.
- You master the visual presentation methods enabled by information graphics.
- You are able to design visual information and new innovative solutions.
- You understand the importance of information graphics as part of overall communications.
- You know the connection between illustration and information graphics.

Content

- How to design and simplify information into graphics?
- How to select the tools to solve the task?
- How to design maps, user guides and symbols without words?
- How to visually present qualitative and quantitative information?

Evaluation

Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situa-tions.
- evaluate information sources critically.
- work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field
- evaluate operations in customer, user and target group situations
- choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
- promote teams goal-oriented operation
- apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations
