You deepen your comprehension of the normal/abnormal structure and function of the human body.
You understand the basics of clinical examination techniques (inspection, palpation, auscultation, percussion) in the comprehensive assessment of a patient's clinical condition from a nurse's perspective to support independent decision-making.
You understand the importance of patient history in clinical assessment.
You are able to identify abnormal findings and situations that require consultation with a doctor.
You are able to independently carry out patient clinical assessment using various assessment techniques and equipment within the context of a nurse's competence.
You understand the differences between a nurse's and doctor's areas of responsibility in clinical patient assessment.
