Objective
You become familiar with the legislation and day care service system of early childhood education and with the National Core Curriculum Guidelines on Early Childhood Education and Care.
You are able account for the child-centered approach as an educational starting point.
You study learning areas and the importance of learning environments in early childhood education, and are able to plan, implement and evaluate activities that meet the criteria of the National Core Curriculum Guidelines on Early Childhood Education and Care.
You are able to observe and study children's play from developmental theoretical and interactive perspective.
