Objective

You know how to use basic structures. You understand professional texts. You can act in the basic professional communication situations (orally and in writing). You can produce basic messages for the purposes of professional communication. You demonstrate knowledge of the German business culture.

Content

What basic structures and vocabulary do you need for professional communication situations? How do you produce basic messages for the purposes of professional communication? How do you take into account the features of the German business culture? How do you practice your dialogue skills for the purposes of professional communication?

Evaluation

Students can
a. use basic vocabulary for the key purposes of professional communication at European (CEFR) level B1.
b. look for information in the information sources of the field.
c. act in the professional communication situations at European (CEFR) level B1.

Study forms and methods

Tämä on verkkokurssi, jonka opiskelu etenee viikkokohtaisen aikataulun mukaisesti.
Opintojaksolla käsitellään seuraavia aiheita: oma työkokemus, oma koulutus, yrityksen tai organisaation esittely, asiakaspalvelu, messut, tuotteiden ja palveluiden esittely sekä liike-elämän asiakirjat.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Opintojakso sisältää työelämässä tarvittavan sanaston ja viestintätilanteiden harjoittelua. Opiskelija itse kerää oman alan liittyvän sanaston ehdotettujen harjoitusten kautta.

Timing of exams and assignments

Opintojaksolla on tarjolla 1 webinaari, jonka aikana opiskelijat pääsevät harjoittelemaan puheen toteuttamista. Webinariin osallistuminen on vapaaehtoinen. Webinaarin päivämäärästä ilmoitetaan Learn-alustalla.

Student workload

Opintojakson laajuus 5 op vastaa 135 tuntia opiskelijatyötä.

Assessment methods and criteria

Opintojakson arviointi perustuu kirjalliseen kokeeseen ja suulliseen yritysesittelyyn. Learn-alustalla antavat tehtävät pitää olla palautettu.

Qualifications

Completed German 1, 2, 3 and 4 or other equivalent studies.
