Objective

• use ordinal numbers
• manage common travel-related situations in Italian (e.g. do shopping, order food and drink in a restaurant, buy tickets and ask for and give directions)
• use basic telephone phrases
• tell about the day’s events
• tell about the weather
• make short notes and form sentences
• tell about Italy

Content

What kind of vocabulary and language structures do you need in everyday life and workrelated communication situations?
How do you use basic language structures in working life communication situations? How do you improve your listening comprehension skills related to everyday communication situations and in simple working life situations?

Integration with working life may be possible for some of the contents and tasks of this course. The student is asked to negotiate the options with the lecturer before the course starts.
