Objective

You are familiar with the legistation and decrees concerning the transportation, classification, packaging, and handling of dangerous goods by different modes of transport.

Content

How are hazardous substances classified and how is their transportation planned?
What regulations govern the road transportation of hazardous substances?
What regulations govern the railroad transportation?
What regulations govern the sea transportion?
What regulations govern the air transportation?
How is a safety advisor appointed?
What information is provided by various manuals and how is information retrieved?

Student deliveres plan created in cooperation with employer. Plan must be composed according to course contents and goals.
