Objective
Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- structures, operating principles and basic characteristics of transformers and rotating electrical machines
- selection and dimensioning criteria for transformers and rotating electrical machines and their front arms

Evaluation
Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations
- choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices
In addition, competence evaluation according to STCW code table A-III/6 column 4 are used:
- operation of equipment and system is in accordance with operating manuals
- performance levels are in accordance with technical specifications
