Objective

You are able to calculate the costs of different business practices.
You are able to set a price based on costs for the product or service.
You are able to plan and evaluate the company’s upcoming investments.

Content

How to recognize the concept of different costs and their special features?
How to utilise different cost calculation methods and find the suitable accounting method for the company?
How to set a comprehensive price for the product or service?
How to utilise investment calculations in business planning?

Evaluation

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way.
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques. according to the purpose and justify these choices.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaiseen opetukseen ja ohjaukseen. Opiskelusi rytmittyvät työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan.

Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Sovitaan opettajan kanssa.

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Sovitaan opettajan kanssa.

Timing of exams and assignments

Tentti suoritetaan opintojakson päätteeksi learnalustalla. Lisäksi mahdollisuus suorittaa uusintatentti kaksi kertaa. Päivät ilmoitetaan myöhemmin.

Student workload

5 op on 135 h opiskelijan työtä. Työ koostuu lähiopetustunneista, opiskelijan tehtävistä learn-alustalla, itsenäisestä opiskelusta ja tenttiin valmistautumisesta.

Assessment methods and criteria

Arvioinnin perusteena on tenttitulos (100%) sekä lisäksi toimintolaskennan tehtävä, joka tulee suorittaa hyväksytysti.

Qualifications

Management accounting studies (5 ECTS credits), or equivalent knowledge.
