Objective

- You are able to identify different stages of a project.
- You are able to plan and time a project.
- You can operate in the project as an expert in your own field.
- You adopt an analytical, critical, research-oriented and reflective approach to RDI.
- You apply your knowhow creatively and critically to the chosen design project.
- You can set the targets, create research questions and choose suitable research methods for your development task.
- You learn to analyze how the chosen research methods are applied to answer your research questions.
- You know how to write a research plan.

During this course, you will write a study based on a research plan. This study is like your thesis, only shorter (about 20 pages).

- You are able to write your study according to Xamk Referencing guidelines.
- You can write a list of references.
- You can assess the reliability of the results.

This course has to be completed before starting your Bachelor’s thesis.

Content

What stages does the project work contain?
How can you make the project plan and schedule?
What tasks and roles do you have as a representative of design?
How is the project carried out and reported with a critical, research-oriented and reflecting approach?
How to carry out the field-specific RDI project and the associated learning tasks, research plan and written report?
