Objective

You understand the importance of safety in mechatronics solutions.
You are familiar with different types of robots.
You understand the basics of controlling robots.
You are familiar with the applications of robotics.

Content

What is robotics security?
What types of robots exist?
How are robots controlled?
What applications are used in robotics?

Evaluation

Students are able to
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
- evaluate operations in customer, user and target group situations.
- choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.

The literature of the course is explained in the opening lecture

Study forms and methods

If the student wishes to follow an individual learning track, the student writes a plan for the individual learning track. The plan must comply with the learning outcomes of the course and has to be approved first by the teacher of the course and then by the student's work place. The individual learning track must be agreed with the teacher prior to the course start.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Course does not include RDI co-operation.

Timing of exams and assignments

The exam is agreed upon at the introductory lecture.
All exams must be agreed with the teacher before registering for the exam, and retake exams must be completed in the schedule according to the degree regulations.
