Objective

This course is aiming at creating an overview of practices and methods used in the communication of automation projects. A project in common related to communication and project activities will be worked out concerning process and automation descriptions. The course includes a core content part of 40 %, and an additional part of 60 % concerning in-work learning and personal projects related to the core content topics. After completing the course, participants are capable to
• write technical reports according to field practices
• work out process descriptions after learning the working principles of processes
• analyse the working of loops based on PI diagrams and process descriptions, and create functional loop-wise descriptions
• listen and assess in project meetings
• prepare and document issues for project meetings.

How do we write clear reports and memos using proper Finnish?
How do we make clearly sorted process descriptions?
How do we work out well understood functional loop-wise descriptions?
How do we behave in project meetings?
How do we present issues in online meetings?

Evaluation

After completing this course our participants
• find, study, produce and assess critically multidisciplinary data in their field of expertise
• communicate proficiently and systematically in their spoken and written native language and in one foreign language.
