Objective
You can identify different environmental sampling targets and sites and know the importance of environmental sampling as part of high quality research. You know the main variety of sampling methods and are able to mention and classify a variety of sample types. You know how to identify the special features of the Finnish environment to be taken into account in the sampling design and implementation. You are able to make a sampling plan and to identify the key sources of error. You know how to take simple environmental samples and interpret the results.
