International security (5 cr)

Objective

You understand how comprehensive security is formed, and identify security operators. You get a general understanding of the importance of diplomacy and the basics of hybrid influence. You understand the roles of the Parliament, Government and President of the Republic in international activities. You also understand the potential of the third sector to influence international security. You understand the key threats and the impact of potential conflicts within the EU on international security. You will also deepen your knowledge of terrorism, political-social crises and environmental disasters. You know how international defense is built. You get an overall understanding of the importance of border security.

How is global security and defense built? What actors are part of international security? What role does hybrid influence play in international security? What role do the top decision-makers in society play in international relations? How can the third sector affect the security of society? How do potential conflicts within the EU affect international security? What impact does terrorism, political-social crises and environmental disasters have on international security? What effect does border security have on our security?
