Objective
- You are familiar with the basic methods for model making and development.
- You are able to compare different methods with each other and choose the most suitable modeling method for each design task.
- You are capable of testing different forms and constructions using test models.
- You have knowhow of furniture and fixture models, spatial models and field models.
Content
- How to construct different models for furniture design, such as mock-ups and function models?
- How to select the right materials and work methods for model making?
- How to fit parts together with different fittings and joints?
Evaluation
The course "Modelling methods" is located in the entry-level of your studies. The assessment emphasizes criteria c and e. A student who has reached the level 3 is able to:
