Objective

Tavoitteena on, että opintojakson suoritettuaan opiskelija:
- syventää osaamistaan peruselintoimintojen arvioinnissa.
- syventää osaamistaan peruselintoimintahäiriöiden hoidossa.

Content

- Hengitys- ja verenkiertoelimistön anatomian ja fysiologian kertaus
- Potilaan peruselintoimintojen arviointi ABCDE- menetelmää hyödyntäen
- Potilaan peruselintoimintahäiriöiden hoitokeinot

Opintojaksolla käydään läpi myös NEWS- pisteytysjärjestelmää ja sen käyttöä potilaan peruselintoimintojen arvioinnissa

The assesment of the course is based on the final exam and is passed/failed.

The student can accomplish the exam based on his/her own timetables after the course is opened.

Course part description

The course includes different sections about vital signs. In the end of the course the student will accomplish an online exam based on course material.

The course is planned for the health care students and people who all ready work in the health care sector.

The course is based on ABCDE- protocol.
