Objective

You can describe what is meant by managerial skills and managerial communication. You understand the basic elements and prerequisites of effective supervisory work. You understand the importance of self-leadership. You can lead change and learning processes of a team and are able to resolve conflicts constructively.
You can communicate professionally and effectively in different situations. You understand the importance of social media in managerial work.

Content

Different areas of supervisory work. Motivating and managing staff in accordance with organizational goals. Solving challenging situations using different methods. Manager's communication methods in different situations, face-to-face communication, manager and social media, and managerial communication in a digital environment.

Study forms and methods

Ilmoittautuessasi tälle opintojakson toteutukselle osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaiseen opetukseen ja ohjaukseen. Opiskelusi rytmittyy työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan.
