Ympäristöterveys (5 op)

Tavoitteet

Tunnet ympäristöterveyden osatekijät ja alan keskeisen säädöstön. Ymmärrät, kuinka ympäristön tekijät vaikuttavat ihmisen terveyteen ja tutkit tapoja kuvata, arvioida ja hallita erilaisia ympäristöterveysriskejä. Ymmärrät mikrobiologian, toksikologian ja epidemiologian perusteet ja sen, kuinka niitä on mahdollista hyödyntää ympäristöterveysriskinen hallinnassa.

Opiskelijan työmäärä

The student workload is about 135 hours consisting of the lectures and the exam/final project together with self-study and tasks.

Toteutuksen osien kuvaus

The course consists of lectures, research examples and seminars on the impact of environmental factors on public health. The course also relates to the Case Studies course so try to enrol to both, but if not possible then also it can be managed.
