- You are able to recognize the principles of sustainable furniture design.
- You can use different methods, tools and presentation techniques.
- You are familiar with modern and sustainable forms of furniture and the most common constructions and materials.
- You are able to model furniture in 3D.

The course follows a work week-based learning pathway.

Xamk offers its students an opportunity to pursue studies flexibly to suit their various life situations. Students can choose between three learning routes: a learning route based on a working week, a learning route that accelerates the studies, and a work-based learning route.

The course "Furniture design project" is located close to graduation. The assessment emphasizes criteria e. A student who has reached the level 3 is able to:
e. choose the appropriate materials, production and aesthetic solutions.
g. apply critically the ethical and ecological principles of design
