Objective

Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- concepts, components and calculation methods for DC circuits
- calculating and analyzing DC circuits

Content

- concepts and quantities
- operation of voltage and power supplies
- passive basic components
- calculation and analysis methods

Evaluation

Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations
- choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices

In addition, competence evaluation according to STCW code table A-III/6 column 4 are used:
- operation of equipment and system is in accordance with operating manuals
- performance levels are in accordance with technical specifications
