Objective

Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- performing measurement tasks safely and according to requirements
- reliable measurement of basic electrical engineering
- use of more common industrial measuring devices

Content

- measurements in the field of electrical engineering
- making measuring connections
- estimates of error in the measurement task and measuring devices
- creating reports on completed work

Material distributed in lectures as well as material announced in lectures.

Scheduled track:
You will attend teaching and guidance sessions as specified in the schedule.
Lectures, tasks, web tasks and possible laboratory work.

Discussion with the teacher and, where appropriate, PSP-planning with your own mentor teacher.

Assessment methods and criteria

Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations
- choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices

In addition, competence evaluation according to STCW code table A-III/6 column 4 are used:
- safety measures for working are appropriate
- selection and use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment are appropriate and interpretation of results is accurate

Course is graded based on the laboratory works conducted and the report prepared consisting the essentials of the laboratory works.
