Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:

- electrical safety requirements
- electrical work safety requirements
- responsibilities and obligations
- verification of compliance with requirements
- reporting and analysing measurements

- quality and control inspections during electrical work
- installation inspections of electrical installations
Evaluation
Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations
- choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices
In addition, competence evaluation according to STCW code table A-III/6 column 4 are used:
- safety measures for working are appropriate
- selection and use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment are appropriate and interpretation of results is accurate
