You can measure timber with the most common systems. You can describe how bucking is controlled in the CTL system. You can self-study a new timber measurement system. You become familiar with timber measurement systems applied in international trade.

Study forms and methods
A learning pathway that accelerates studies:
Contact teaching mostly in terrain. Contact periods before, between and finally tasks. Four contact days, according to the separately announced program.
Work-integrated learning path:
Contact OVA.
RDI and work-related cooperation
Excursion/field exercise to timber measurement in companies, logging machines and factory surveying.
Further information
The contact days usually consist of a short lecture, after which we move on to exercises in the field, at dusk we return from the field to school to finish the paperwork.

1-5
Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment is based on the so-called for weekly assignments and exam.
Weekly assignments are done online during the weeks when there is no contact teaching. After the return day, you will receive group feedback on the week's assignment - This is why regular return of weekly assignments is important for learning. Weekly assignments are scored, 50% of the grade.
The exam is a learn exam, 50% of the grade.
