Intensive English Course (9op)

Tavoitteet

Osaat kirjoitttaa ja puhua englanniksi tärkeimmissä viestintätilanteissa. Parannat kielitaitoasi monipuolisin menetelmin. Tavoitteena on eurooppalaisen viitekehyksen mukainen B2-tason osaaminen.

Sisältö

Englannin kieltä kertaava ja elämyksellinen oppimisjakso.

Opiskelijat osallistuvat erilaisiin kielitaitoa laajentaviin aktiviteetteihin. Opintojaksolla tutustutaan myös kulttuuriteemoihin.

Vocabulary and Grammar: Uses a limited range of vocabulary and demonstrates inconsistent or inaccurate usage of grammar structures appropriate for the B2 level.

Communication Skills: Communicates basic information and ideas with some clarity, but may struggle to express more complex thoughts or engage in extended conversation.

Listening Comprehension: Understands main ideas and some supporting details in spoken discourse, but may have difficulty following complex or extended conversations.

Reading Comprehension: Understands main points in shorter texts on familiar topics, but may struggle with longer or more complex texts on unfamiliar topics.

Writing Skills: Produces basic written texts with limited organization and coherence, demonstrating some ability to convey ideas but with frequent errors in grammar and vocabulary.

Speaking Skills: Participates in basic conversations and discussions, but may struggle to express ideas fluently or respond effectively to more challenging questions or prompts.

Language Accuracy: Demonstrates limited accuracy in vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation, with noticeable errors that may impede communication.

Critical Thinking: Demonstrates some ability to analyze and evaluate information, but may struggle to make connections between ideas or apply critical thinking skills consistently.

Engagement and Effort: Shows effort and engagement in class activities and assignments, but may require additional support and practice to reach the desired proficiency level.
