Objective

• You are able to provide multidisciplinary patient-centered support and assess the need of care, set goals and document progress.
• You are able to recognize a need for psychotherapy in a patient or their relative, and are familiar with the processes of counselling and different approaches and methods of psychotherapy
• You can take actions in multidisciplinary co-operation as a professional of your field
• You can utilize dialogue in multidisciplinary patient-centered co-operation

Course material

Study materials are provided by the teacher in class or via the Learn platform.

Study forms and methods

The course is mainly carried out by way of unscheduled online study but it also has scheduled online lessons. The scheduled online lessons entail work in groups and require active participation. Participation in scheduled online lessons is mandatory. Participation in the start session is mandatory. The teacher provides guidance during scheduled online lessons.
Studies are carried out on the Learn platform. Access to the platform opens on the starting day of the course. In addition to having an internet connection, the students must also have a video and audio connection during online lessons.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Guest lectures will be given by representatives from the world of work.

Timing of exams and assignments

Specify the scheduling of assignments and exams. An assignment must be completed at the end of each section of the course, and an online exam must be taken at the end of the course. / At the end of the course, an exam must be taken on campus via the Exam system. / The end date of the course is presented in the course details. By this date, the student must submit all assignments, take the required exams and meet all other conditions set for an approved course completion. / The course is completed by assignments that are assessed according to specified criteria. There is no exam in this course.
