Objective
You understand the role of the emergency care service system and the principles of legislation guiding emergency care.
You become proficient in interviewing patients and carrying out clinical examinations at the basic level in accordance with the principles of ethical and pair work.
You know how to use examination and care technology at the basic level to examine patients and administer emergency care and to assess and support the sufficiency of the patient’s vital functions (including basics of ECG, manual airway management, use of supraglottic airway devices and use a defibrillator)
You learn to recognize a patient’s immediate need for help and the urgency of care based on the symptoms and findings, perform a preliminary diagnosis.
You know how to perform a preliminary diagnosis.
You are familiar with the authority network and the principles of using the most common data terminal equipment.
You learn to communicate in care and consultation situations with the patient and the team participating in the patient’s treatment.
You know how to provide the necessary care at the basic level.
You understand the principles of non-transport of a patient
You know how to document and report the actions taken.
You know the principles of emergency vehicle operations.
You know the operating principles in major accidents and accidents involving multiple patients and the responsibilities and obligations of the involved authorities.
