Tunnet keskeisiä toimintaympäristöanalyysin malleja ja menetelmiä sekä menetelmien etuja ja rajoitteita.


Osaat hankkia, käsitellä ja arvioida kriittisesti monialaista tietoa matkailu- ja ravitsemisalan toimintaympäristöstä.

Osaat suunnitella, toteuttaa ja raportoida matkailu- ja ravitsemisalan toimintaympäristöanalyysin.

Osaat hyödyntää toimintaympäristöinformaatiota organisaation tai alan kehittämisessä.

The course page in Xamk Learn - digital learning environment - will include course presentations as well as PDF or online articles and books.

Opiskelumuodot ja -menetelmät

The course will include both individual and group tasks. Students are expected to work jointly on the group assignments. It is not possible to finish this course earlier than the set schedule, as each topic and task will have its own schedule. By only completing all course tasks, a student can complete the course.

Tenttien ja tehtävien ajoittuminen

The course will include scheduled tasks. All course tasks are to be fulfilled by a certain deadline. The deadlines of each assignment and studied topic will be indicated in the beginning of the course in the course page in Xamk Learn.

Kansainvälinen yhteistyö

The course is based on the international business environment analysis framework and related material.

Opiskelijan työmäärä

The course is 5 ECTS and it is to be completed in English. 1 ECTS means approximately 27 hours of student work related to studying the course material, fulfilling the course assignments and acting as a group member. Contact days 5 x 8 hours, independent learning, group work and assignments 100 hours.

Evaluation is based on tasks' fulfillment on a scale of 1-5, where 1 is "fair" and the lowest acceptable grade and 5 is "excellent" and the highest grade.

The student can
