Study Guide

Objective

The common part (3 ECTS cr) for the bachelor's degree students of all programs:
- You know how to use Xamk`s own systems and the most common digital tools in your studies and profession.
- You will be able to create the most common documents, presentations and spreadsheets.
- You know how to work with information security mindset.

The field-specific part (2 ECTS cr):
- You know the most common digital tools and services in your professional field.
- You know how to use appropriate digital applications and utilize your skills in tasks in your field.

Content

The common part (3 ECTS cr) for the bachelor's degree students of all programs:
- Which Xamk systems do you need during your studies?
- Which information and communication technology applications do you need in your studies and profession?
- How to create the most common documents using word processing, presentation graphics and spreadsheets?
- What is meant by information security and how to work securely in your studies and profession?

The field-specific part (2 ECTS cr):
- Which digital tools and services are used in your professional field?
- How do you use digital applications and utilize your skills in tasks in your professional field?

Opiskelumateriaali

Opiskelumateriaali jaetaan toteutuksen aikana/julkaistaan Learn-ympäristössä opintojakson alkaessa.

Yksilölliset oppimisväylät

Opintojakso etenee ryhmän yhteisen aikataulun mukaisesti.

Opintojakso koostuu kahdesta osa-alueesta, jotka arvioidaan erikseen: Xamkin yhteinen osuus, 3op ja talotekniikan koulutuksen osuus, 2 op. Tarkempi kuvaus on kohdassa toteutuksen osat.

TKI ja työelämäyhteistyö

Opintojaksolla ei ole työelämäyhteistyötä.

Tentit ja muut määräajat

Harjoitustehtävien ja mahdollisten tenttien ajankohdat ilmoitetaan opintojakson alkaessa.

Opintojakso päättyy toteutuksen tiedoissa ilmoitettuna aikana, johon mennessä opiskelija on palauttanut suoritukseen vaadittavat harjoitustehtävät, suorittanut mahdolliset tentit ja täyttänyt muut hyväksytyn suorituksen vaatimukset.

Opiskelijan työmäärä

1 op vastaa noin 27 tuntia opiskelijan työtä. Työmäärä kuitenkin riippuu opiskelutaidoista ja aiemmasta osaamisesta. 5 op:n opintojaksolla opiskelijan työmäärä on n. 135 t.

Toteutuksen osien kuvaus

Opintojakso koostuu kahdesta osasta. 3 op on Xamkin yhteistä osuutta, jossa käsitellään yleisiä digitaitoja (esim. Word, PowerPoint) ja 2 op on talotekniikan koulutuksen omaa toteutusta, jossa perehdytään mm. Excelin käyttöön osana talotekniikan opintoja.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Students can
c. identify interrelated tasks.
e. use the digital tools and services needed in their studies.
g. justify their actions according to the ethical principles in the digital environments.

Assessment methods and criteria

Arviointi tehdään suhteessa opintojakson osaamistavoitteisiin ja arviointikriteereihin. Opintojakson hyväksytty suorittaminen edellyttää harjoitustehtävien ja mahdollisten tenttien tekemistä hyväksytyllä arvosanalla.

Opintojakson arviointiasteikko: 1–5.

The common part (3 ECTS cr) for the bachelor's degree students of all programs is implemented online in the Learn environment. In the field-specific (2 ECTS cr) part, the method of implementation is on-site or online studies, according to the degree program's own decision.
