You know how operating systems relate to hardware interface.
You understand the services that operating systems provide to applications and you can use these services.
Content
What is an operating system?
What are the tasks and components of operating systems?
What is the kernel in operating systems and how is it constructed?
What are processes, threads, memory management, virtual memory, input/output, interrupts and file system?
Evaluation
Students can
